What is the average budget of a couple getting married at SpringHaus Farm?

-
That is a great question! In general, we believe the average budget of a couple getting married at SpringHaus Farm is between $12,000-$18,000 for all wedding expenses (venue, food, dress, DJ, photographer, etc.). We also know some very creative couples with smaller guest lists and they have hosted beautiful weddings in the $12,000 - $15,000 range.

Is there a food and beverage, or guest count minimum?

-
No. Many venues have minimums because they make a 10 - 15% commission from the caterer based on how much you spend on food and drinks. We choose NOT to make a commission because we want our food and beverage options to be as elegant or affordable as your budget allows, and therefore we don't have a food and beverage or guest count minimum. Some caterers may have a reasonable minimum for specific dates.

Do we have to utilize your caterers?

-
At this time we do not have a preferred vendor list because we want to work with different caterers to make sure they treat their clients like we want them to be treated, like family. Some caterers are amazing, but some won't clearly be a good fit for us. Until we embrace those relationships after we open we have an open eye policy where we will be watching closely.
Will there be another wedding on the same day?

-
At SpringHaus Farm we only host one wedding each day to ensure that each couple's event is special and receives our full attention.

What kind of tables do you offer?

-

Do you provide table linens, cups, silverware, etc?

-
No. SpringHaus Farm provides an awesome venue, tables, upgraded wedding chairs, and lots of decor for the allotted amount of time. Linens and cups/silverware are NOT included in the rental fee. You are also welcome to bring your own linens.

What happens in case of rain?

-
In the case of rain, we have a beautiful backdrop indoors with the SpringHaus Farm rustic barn doors and grand staircase. Guests sit at their tables and the SHF team will move a few (usually 3 - 5) chairs down the middle of the room to create a beautiful aisle. Our couples have loved this option because it’s a stunning ceremony location and doesn’t require the room flip other venues require, which would be disruptive to your event.

Do you allow dogs on site to play a part in our wedding day?

-
We are dog-friendly, with some specific stipulations. Dogs are allowed (only with pre-approval by our owners Ginger & Paul) at the ceremony and pictures. Animals, other than service animals, are NOT allowed under the roof or near food. Dogs must be on a leash and with a dedicated handler at all times.

What form of payment does SpringHaus Farm accept?

-
Cash or check is preferred. Credit and debit cards and bank transfers may be accepted but the client will be responsible for the credit card fee at the end of the payments.

Where can I find pictures of the decor available?

-
We have it all photographed on our inventory page.

What time will I have access to the venue to decorate?

-
You have 14 hours of access to the venue so please plan accordingly and it will be addressed on your contract the time frame you wish to start!

Do you include a "wedding day coordinator?"

-
This is such a great question! If you're trying to compare venues "apples to apples" we feel like this is a tricky question. Our answer is yes, we have a day of wedding coordinator available for you to use that is specific to SpringHaus Farm. We think it’s possible for the job duties of a "day-of wedding coordinator" to mean something different to you than it does to us, and the last thing we want is the opportunity for miscommunication. Our day-of-wedding coordinator is a team leader here before you arrive onsite who stays with you throughout the duration of your big day. This member of the SpringHaus Farm team is here to help you however they can (be an extra set of hands decorating, guide you around the farm for best photo ops, answer questions from your vendors direct them as necessary, etc.) Their goal is to do everything possible to help your day go smoothly and ensure your day is as stress-free as possible!

What time does the music need to end?

-
Madison County's noise ordinance states Music on Fridays/Saturdays must conclude by 11:00 p.m. to ensure that you, all of your items, and all of your vendors are off-property by midnight. Music on weekdays (Sundays - Thursdays) must conclude by 10:00 p.m. to be off-property by 11:00 pm.

Are candles allowed?

-
Great question! So, white oak barn and fire don't routinely go well together so, only flameless candles are allowed for safety reasons.

Are outside snacks and trays permitted?

-
Outside food and drinks are permitted before the ceremony. Please no drinks in glass bottles.
What is the event clean-up process?

-
SpringHaus Farm will handle all standard clean-up after the event; trash removal during the reception should be handled via your caterer.
Can we take photos around the venue on our wedding day?

-
Sure! Just ask us and we would be happy to make recommendations.
Can we nail decorations to the walls or hang things like streamers or lanterns from the beams?

-
We request that holes are not placed in the walls. We will have areas where hooks are already placed that you are welcome to use for any additional decorations. The white oak beams at SpringHaus Farm at very tall and not reachable by a ladder. For this reason, we do not allow for anything to be hung from the beams. We hope that you will find them beautiful without any extra work!
